Publisher Data Platform · For publishers

Sell audiences, not impressions.

The Anonymised Publisher Data Platform turns your audience data, enriched with real behaviour from across the open web, into rich personas built to an advertiser's brief, and targetable on your own inventory.

01

A DMP activated segments. A CDP organises records. Neither answers a brief.

A DMP was built to activate third-party segments, and most of what it depended on no longer exists. A CDP organises the records of people you already know, which for a publisher means the logged-in minority.

Neither describes the people reading you right now in terms an advertiser's brief would recognise. That is what a Publisher Data Platform does: it builds a rich, evidenced description of a cohort (who they are, what they are in the market for, how many of them you can reach) and makes it targetable on your own inventory.

02

Advertisers buy audiences. Most publishers still sell pages.

A brief arrives describing a customer: who they are, what they are in the market for, what they care about. The response goes back describing sections, formats and page views, with a demographic profile from a panel study attached.

The gap between those two documents is where rate card erodes. Direct-sold inventory competes with platforms that can describe an audience precisely, in real time, and prove they reached it.

Your own data does not close the gap on its own, because it only records what people did on your pages, not what they want next.

03

The same persona engine, pointed at your audience.

AudienceLift builds personas from an advertiser's first-party data. The Publisher Data Platform builds them from yours.

01

Cross-domain insight

Understand and segment your audiences using cross-domain interest and intent data, not only what happens on your own pages. Better insight is what turns a media pitch into an audience pitch.

02

Custom targeting

Build segments from your own taxonomies, entities, user actions or product pages. Anything large enough to keep individual users hidden can be targeted and retargeted.

03

100% of your audience

Every user is enriched and segmentable, not only the logged-in minority, so a persona is sized against your whole audience rather than the addressable slice of it.

04

Aura builds the persona. Your team sells it.

Aura is our AI agent, available in your Anonymised platform account. It reads the advertiser's brief and builds the persona that answers it, assembled from your enriched audience data, sized against your actual inventory, and ready to target.

01

Brief in

Your sales team gives Aura the advertiser's brief in the advertiser's own words.

02

Persona out

Aura interprets it against cross-domain interest and intent signals and builds a matching cohort from your audience.

03

Sized before you pitch

You see the reach available on your own inventory before the persona goes into a proposal.

04

Targetable immediately

The persona is delivered as key-values in Google Ad Manager, or in any major SSP, so what you pitched is what gets delivered.

A bespoke audience for every brief, without a data team, a research project or a three-week turnaround. Publishers using Aura are 2.5x more likely to win a response to a brief.

05

Including the audiences nobody else can price.

Non-endemic behavioural data does not depend on a third-party cookie, so it reaches the users other targeting stacks cannot see. Safari matters most: a large share of premium audiences sits there, and almost no buyer can address it.

That is 40% more addressable audience to sell, on inventory you already own.

06

And the inventory your team does not sell itself.

The Publisher Data Platform includes automatic access to Anonymised curation, our curated demand network, so the impressions your direct team does not sell are monetised against the same personas rather than falling to the open market floor.

07

Personas describe cohorts, not people.

A persona is a description of a group. Segments below the size at which individuals could be distinguished are never created, and no user-level profile is passed to a buyer. The advertiser gets an audience they can buy and a report on how it performed, never the underlying records.

09

Variable first. Fixed once it is proven.

The Publisher Data Platform is packaged with SignalLift. You never commit to a fixed fee before you have seen what the variable fee would have been.

01

Start on pay-as-you-go

25% of measured SignalLift uplift, plus the Publisher Data Platform rate card. No commitment, no minimum.

02

Establish the baseline

Two or three billing cycles establish real uplift, platform usage and your average monthly fee.

03

Convert to a fixed fee

A flat SaaS price, set slightly below that projected average.

04

Guaranteed revenue-positive

The combined fee stays substantially below the revenue the products generate.

You get budget certainty on the way out, and you never pay a fixed fee for a product that has not already proven it pays for itself.
